Our Story

Farmers Defense started with a real problem.

In 2018, our co-founder Jeremy Glum was working hands-on with plants and spending long hours outdoors. His arms were constantly being scratched, irritated, and exposed to the sun.

Traditional long sleeves felt too hot and uncomfortable, while the products already available didn't provide the lightweight protection he needed.

So instead of continuing to search for the right solution, he decided to create one.

That idea became the first Farmers Defense protective sleeve.

What started as a practical solution for outdoor work grew into a family-built company. Jeremy, his wife Whitney, and longtime friend Kaz combined their experience, creativity, and passion to build Farmers Defense into a brand serving gardeners, farmers, outdoor workers, and nature enthusiasts.

Today, we continue to develop gear inspired by the same simple principle:
